EndNote Web - English

Unlike the EndNote software, no installation is required. Therefore, from any web access, you can :

• store and manage bibliographic references;
• import bibliographic references from most library databases;
• insert citations into Word documents;
• quickly produce a bibliography with one of the available styles.

To create an account, go to the EndNote web page and click on Register.

It is preferable to use your HEC Montreal email address to create this account.

If you plan on working in your library with EndNote desktop as well, you will need to create a link between your library used in EndNote and your web account.

1. Open the EndNote software.
2. In the Edit menu select Preferences, then Sync.
3. Enter your email address and the password used for your web account.
4. Leave the Sync this EndNote Library line blank.
5. Click Apply and then Ok.
6. Go to the Library menu and click on Sync
