Edit a reference

Under the tab My References.

  • Click on the title of the reference to be modified.
  • Click on Show Empty Fields to display all fields.
  • Make the desired changes.
  • Press the Save button that appears to the right of Bibliographic Fields.

Delete a reference

In order to remove...

a reference from a group (the reference is present in the [Unfiled] tab):

  • Select the reference in the group
  • Click on Remove from Group.

a reference from the library and from all groups:

  • Select the references in My References.
  • Click on Delete.

Duplicates (references in double):

  • In the Organize tab, click on Find Duplicates.
  • The duplicates appear with a yellow background and are automatically selected.
  • After verifying, click on Delete.

Create groups

Using groups makes it easy to share references and create bibliographies.

A reference can be copied into more than one group, but will always remain in the master list (My References).

Create a group from My References

  1. Check the required reference boxes.
  2. From the drop-down menu Add to group..., select New group.
  3. A dialog box appears: enter the group name and click on OK.

Create an empty group

  1. In the Organize tab, click on Manage My Groups.
  2. Click on New Group.
  3. A dialog box appears : write the name of the group and click on OK.

Sort references

It is possible to sort the references according to several criteria from the Sort by drop-down menu :

  • Name of first author mentioned (alphabetical)
  • Year of publication
  • Title of the article (alphabetical)
  • Title of source (alphabetical)
  • Number of times cited
  • Date added to your library
  • Date last modified
