The function « Cite While You Write » (CWYW) allows you to insert a cited author from an EndNote library into a Word text and automatically generate the bibliography at the end of the document.
There are two possible methods :
1. Insert the citation from within EndNote by using the Tools > Cite While You Write (CWYW) > Insert Citation command.
OR
2. Insert the citation through Word:
NOTE : Enable Instant Formatting for automatic updating (Word EndNote tab, Bibliography group). If automatic updating is disabled, the cited authors appear in a temporary form, e.g. {Mintzberg, 1979 #40}. Click on Update Citations and Bibliography to format.
Consult the FAQ page of this guide for any problems.
To add a page, remove the author from the brackets or remove a citation.
